    Held Indefinitely WITHOUT CHARGE

This is why the PATRIOT Act sucks. To quote Benjamin Franklin: "He who would trade essential liberties for temporary securities deserves neither."

    Extremely Controversial Capitalism or Communism?

Actually quite true. There have been some isolated communist communities in Ohio have have succeeded quite well until outside pressures caused them to fold. Saying you lived in a commune wasn't particularly popular in the 60's. That being said, I subscribe to the belief that communism will...

    Do you believe in God?

Re: Do u beleive in God? What is 'it'? I get very suspicious of anything declared a 'proven fact'.

    Do you believe in God?

Re: Do u beleive in God? Ah yes, an anti-intellectual argument by authority. Huzzah indeed.

    Do you believe in God?

Re: Do u beleive in God? I'm sorry, but 'some guy in Europe, or mabey Asia' isn't quite specific enough. This is starting to sound a bit too Calvinistic to me. Does not the very notion of predetermination imply a lack of free will? If not, does the existence of free will preclude a knowledge...

    Do you believe in God?

Re: Do u beleive in God? Name one. (Bear in mind the Mayans said nothing about the world ending in 2012, that's just their version of the y13k bug.)

    I wanna be the guy!

I have beat kraidgleif by unintentionally using the glitch (but used a back-up file to go back and do it properly) and am now on the First Guy (you have to be pretty far in the game to understand that; here's a hint: BOWSER).

    Do you believe in God?

Re: Do u beleive in God? To elaborate: Declarations of truth are bad. Declarations of opinion are good. Leading questions are bad. Hard questions are good. Accusing others is bad. Asking others is good. ...WTF?!?

    Do you believe in God?

Re: Do u beleive in God? If the question is "Do you believe in God?", I would think that a discussion of why or why not would be in order. I have a serious problem, however, when honest questions/comments are taken as 'attacks' and blind refusal to discuss is taken as 'faith'. Let's keep this...

    Do you believe in God?

Re: Do u beleive in God? Your decision, not mine. My point is just that I find this particular passage to be in conflict with the concept of a 'master plan', and thus flaws in religions that include it, including Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This flaw is not of irreconcilable...

    Do you believe in God?

Re: Do u beleive in God? G-E-N-E-S-I-S T-H-R-E-E F-I-V-E This only works, though, if the god is question is the Yahweh/Jehovah, or by extension, Allah.

    Do you believe in God?

Re: Do u beleive in God? Ugh, please tell me you didn't just say that. Negatives are, by definition, impossible to PROVE. Remember, gravity's 'just a theory' too; it could just be a magical dragon sucking us all down (and yes, I have actually heard that one before). All that can be done is...

    Castle Wolfenstein

Uh... he got the term 'aryans' from the, well, aryans, who were a group that conquored much of northern India. Of course he's going to use the swastika. But that's not the context in which it was being used. It was intended to simply be "SS". But they were vague/obscure/fallacious in context.

    Castle Wolfenstein

The swastika comes from a variety of sources as it proliferated well before 1000 B.C., and has assumed so many meanings as to render any judgement about its meaning null. The U.S. is pretty much the only country with a knee-jerk reaction to the swastika, just about everybody else recognizes it...

    Castle Wolfenstein

I do not consider parentage to be a sufficient requirement to automatically assume validity by default. Dependant upon the subject matter and position held, however, your father may perhaps be a reliable source. Please elaborate.

Just no... Adopting a song because it's epic/awesome does not imply an obsession with a loosely related mythology.

    I wanna be the guy!

I just killed Dracula on a medium file I started. First time, too, and I'm still under 200 deaths. Onward to Tetris!

    We Can Solve It

Screw it, I'm purging the last few posts. This is a petition thread, not a debate thread. If you want to argue about the existence or severity of international hunger, or what have you, start another thread. Granted, there's roughly a 87% chance of it being closed within a few pages, but...
