Sidequest Discussion!
There wasn't one in MM, unless you count the land deeds, but that was for heart pieces, not a crazy awesome sword or something. I really do think the last true trading quest was OoT and the Biggoron's sword. The Merchant's quest was sorta one, like I said, but it was between the same...- Dakare

Sidequest Discussion!
So is it just me, or has there not been an epic trading quest in any recent game? Closest I can remember was the merchant quest in WW, where you had to go around trading with the Gorons, but I can't remember any trading quests in recent years. And they were always so much fun.- Dakare

Yeah, I really like the upgrade system. Hopefully they'll flesh it out a bit more in future titles. And yeah, it did take a bit to get used to, but after that it was like "how did I ever play Zelda without this thing?". Collecting distant items, cutting ropes, hitting switches, scouting...- Dakare

The Beetle
I have to admit, I think I'm in love with the beetle in Skyward Sword. SUCH A GOOD ITEM! It's versatile, makes more sense than the boomerang in PH and ST, and, it's, well, awesome. Anybody else a fan of the beetle?- Dakare

Cars!
That's gotta be intense. Yeah, sparkplugs are hardly ever fun. Helped my dad replace them on his Mercury Mountaineer (it had the 4.6L V8 in it), and one of the plugs broke, so that the bottom was still in the head, and the top was taken off. We fixed it eventually, but after that my dad swore... -

I got through the fifth dungeon, but between finals, lending my TV to my RA for a gaming night, and a massive ear infection, I haven't been able to play much. I plan on beating it over break, though.- Dakare

True, true. The gratitude crystals are no Bomber's Notebook, but at least they focus on multiple characters and flesh them out a bit as opposed to, say, the Poes in TP, where it was all for one person.- Dakare

Sidequest Discussion!
You see, I just feel like you can't just have a bunch of collection quests and leave it at that. The sidequests need depth, explore the world, and flesh out characters. The TP sidequests didn't have any of that, and I honestly lost interest in most of those sidequests because of it.- Dakare
