Phoenix Probe Lands on Mars!

A few minutes ago, the Mars probe Phoenix landed successfully. The purpose of this mission is to investigate traces of ice on Mar's northern pole. The last probe sent crashed :( so this is pretty tense!

The Discovery Channel is doing a live program right now.

mars sounds like a fun place if you forget about the heat. i wanna go to mars!!! Just give me a ton of watermelon and a (mars gets lonely) and ill be good

Please tell me you are referring to the lack thereof, or I think I might cry.
 
I guess it's just the return of gravity that I have issues with. After being weightless life would suck once you had to drag your own weight around again...
