Smash Bros News

Ah, but playing with 7 year olds is fun because you can make fun of them......

I hope they do have that stuff added in as well. Maybe they delayed it because Bungie just split from Microsoft and they wanted to get Master Cheif in there.....Nah, MC is American, so they wouldn't.

Lol you never no... WOW. I just watched some gameplay videos on IGN and the game looks.... incredible. Smashville looks like a fun stage :) The menu set up is really nice too.

Anyway, onto what I wanted to say....
This is actually a pretty smart move on Nintendo's part. They have so many big name first party titles coming out this holiday season and it's still that way without brawl: Super Mario Galaxy, Batallion Wars 2, Fire Emblem, and possibly Wii Fit, ect. Also at E3 Nintendo said that Mario Kart Wii would be released Q1 of '08. Now we obviously know that wasn't going to happen so releasing Brawl in the first quarter will give them a reason to postpone Mario Kart until probably summer.

Today's news is taking Snapshots, and I'm sure it will be easier than with the GCN controller. Also, there was the announcement of the delay, and that it will be playable this year at E3.

He's talking about E for All, which is on right now in Japan. It will come to the States the 18th.

Too bad I live in NY, I can't go to E for All :D. I guess that just comes with the teratory though. Can't wait for Brawl, even though they've angered me delaying the game for two months.....

The 18th of...? Anyway, thanks for correcting me. Today was Lucas' stage, that being: "New Pork City", which is supposedly as big, if not bigger than Hyrule Castle from Melee. Itdoesn't say much, but it does show this "Ultimate Chimera", where if it takes one bite of you, it's an automatic one-hit kill. So...friken...cheap...-_-

The 18th as in this Thursday.

And I agree, ONE HIT KO!

I know at least two levels I will never use now (the other probably being the climbing stages.

Tuesday was the Home Run contest where you hit the sand bag and see how far it goes. That looks like fun. It can also be done in online play.

Today was Meowth as a pokemon and how to use the Wii Remote sideways. I think I'm going to end up using that control type... It looks pretty simple.

I loved the Home Run Contest, but I always ended up hitting the poor sandbag off of the stage... I'm glad they are making it harder to do that this time around. ^_^

Today was another assist trophy, this one being Little Mac, from the game "Mike Tyson's Punchout".

EDIT: Today was Peach's very boring final smash. Everyone falls asleep, and peaches fall on the stage for health restoration... Yeah, that's it...

Todays update was a new stage, PictoChat!

...I am truly so very scared...

I would've never thought they'd make this a stage... this leads me to believe there are several more surprises to come.

Today was King Dedede's special moves, which includes a super-jump, pulling Waddle-dees out of the ground, and a jet rocket hammer cannon thing.

Today was my favorite update yet, The stage builder!

That's right... you can build your own stages, and send them to your friends, and get stages built by other Brawlers through Nintendo. It's a lot for me to explain so just go check out the website ;)

I personally can't wait to try it.

Brawl is gonna be such a memory hog, though. The regular save file, the seperate names, the stickers, the videos, the photos, the stages. I'm curious to know just how much memory can one game take up?

Since noone's been updating, today was Lucas' special moves. At the beginning, it stated this:

There’s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now, and Lucas is very similar.

That sentence is scaring me right now...

Ness was horrible: he was really hard to control and if you knew how to control him you were pretty much unstoppable.

in the original. In Melee he was just hard to control. Besides, if Ness doesn't come back is a really big deal? Lucas seems to be an almost identical clone.
