O RLY?

Huh. That doesn't say anything about guns! All it mentions is a militia, and the appositive references the militia's arms, not the citizenry's arms. Show me your well regulated militia, and I'll think about it.

I will March around in PERFECT drill formation as a well regualted militia anyone can form a militia and so I am here By Founder and executive officer of the 501st Hunterdon County Militia

...no you're not.

Yeah, like no handguns.

Can you tell me with a straight face that you need a handgun for hunting? How about defense? If you're at home, then feel free to pull out the shotgun. If you're not at home, then it should be rather easy to see the guy trying to conceal a rifle under a trench coat. The handgun has a singular purpose: to kill, and not just kill, but kill people. Complete and total elimination of handguns save for police sidearms has been shown (in repeated cases) to drastically reduce/eliminate violent crime.

Back on the topic of the Second Amendment: it hasn't been incorporated. Congress shall make no law, but the states can do whatever they want.

Handguns are the only home defence weopen because you can hide them i a picture frame so that your teens gan't find them so no shotguns

Like abortion!

Well I think we are just about done with the topic of gun control so...

Who thinks Nader has any shot at winning?

Nader has no chance at winning and I think everyone knows that. He's prolly only running to take votes away from the Democratic Nominee, as he did in 2004 and 2000.

Great just what we need, another 72 year old man on the ballot.

People need to stop complaining about that because Ross Perot stole the '92 election from Bush.

Yeah, cause 72 year old men are stupid and dumb and have no experience and are not wise and dont know how to make good decisions and are just so stupid just because they're old.

So you attack my candidate so i'll attack yours....
Great just what we need, a black president .

While Nader did screw over Gore in 2000, in 2004 he didn't get nearly enough votes to matter, and he'll probably get even less in 2008. He's basically running because of his ego at this point.

What the heck man.... The reason they shouldn't be president doesn't lie within their skin colour or their gender...

Hillary shouldn't because she is a good politician but a horrible public speaker who cried one too many times.. Plus, she is unpopular even in the Democratic party, so if she gets the nomination, chances are, Republicans will be in office again...

Obama shouldn't be President because he is a terrific public speaker but a bad politician.. He makes his confident tone of voice seem appealing over the shrill and icky Clinton...

So, don't judge people on the skin colour or their sex, do it upon the facts on which are not judgemental.

If you read the whole argument we were in, you'd realize that I was mocking liriano for saying...
"Just what we need, a 72 year old man for president."

Just because McCain is 70 doesn't mean he can be a great president.
Just because Obama is Black doesn't mean he can't be a great president.
Just because Clinton is a Woman doesn't mean she can't be a great president.

So chillax.

??? Hillary is a great public speaker, and Obama is okay in speaking. Neither of them are bad.

She breaks down much too easily when the prssure starts to come... Obama is much for relaxed under pressure and the stupid people who are blindly following the Democratic party and not even realizing its policies are like, "o my gawd!!11! He speeks g000d!"

Did you mean to say Obama is a great speaker and Hillary is okay? Oh my god- that guy is the slickest, smoothest, most charismatic politician i've ever seen. The thing about Hillary is that she is so un-likeable. Her enemies hate her but her supporters only sort of like her... Obama is totally all talk. He's getting the country to believe whatever he says... He's all talk, no walk.

Haha this is so awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uf9aE3Toepo

O'Reilly is teh pwnge.

www.drudgereport.com

Matt Drudge is also teh pwnge... he broke the story that Prince Harry has been fighting the taliban!

Yes, I'm sure it had nothing to do with the collapse of the Soviet Union preventing the solidarity of needing a two-term president.

Or the recession of 1990-91.

Or the fact that Bush raised taxes when he explicitly stated he wouldn't.

Nope, it had to have been Perot.
One of our greatest presidents was that old when in office.
Let's look at our presidents who have served over the age of 68.

William Henry Harrison - died in less than a month
James Buchanan - impeached
Ronald Regan - strongly suspected of Alzheimer's

Doesn't look like too good a track record to me.

Well, Obama is going to turn us into Canada. Then what are the poor Canadians going to do when they want good health care?
Uhh..... stay in Canada?

The guy got something like 20% of the vote and most of it was expected to go Bush.

Actually William Henry Harrison died in exactly a month so you're wrong.
And Reagan got Alzheimers later in his life, proving that the chances of McCain getting it this early are slim.

Hold on, how old is he? Oh, right, over 70. Alzheimer's can start as early as age 50 (the first reported case was on a 51 year old woman), to the chances of him getting Alzheimer's while in office (if he's elected) are actually pretty great. It's also possible that Reagan did have a mild case of Alzheimer's while in office, it just wasn't diagniosed until later.

Ooooooh. So you're saying that Alzheimer's disease doesn't affect someone's ability to be president.

Because Reagan was one of our greatest presidents.
