Zelda Sages collects anonymous information on its visitors including: web browser, operating system, country of access, etc. This collection is for the purpose of internal evaluation of our popularity only. Any information shared with a third party will only be concrete numbers. For example, we may share, “Last month, Zelda Sages had 5,000 unique visitors of Canada”, but we will not share any identifying information. In addition, registered members will have their post and login IP addresses recorded. These are for internal use only both to help us fight internet spam and investigate cases of account compromise. We do not sell or market information about our visitors to advertisers or other third-parties.
Our ROM Policy
A ROM is a commonly used term for a game that has been modified illegally for use on computers or others devices and is freely distributed throughout the web. You will never find any such thing on Zelda Sages. ROMs break international trademark and copyright laws and fines for distributing or downloading these ROMs can go up in the million figure and several years in prison. Zelda Sages is dedicated to helping Nintendo and other content creators stop pirates, and, as such, will refuse association with any web site which offers such content. We will report any site we find to distribute ROMs of any Nintendo game to Nintendo’s piracy department. Members who post links to download ROMS or other illegal content face severe sanctions including, but not limited to: assignment of warning points, temporary suspension, and exspulsion from the Zeldasages.com community and all member benefits.
