Drawing from the newest trailer, I think we can begin to draw some serious conclusions. First off, I’d bet a rather large amount that the woman guarding Zelda is Impa (and if not Impa, the inspiration for Sheik). I would also assert it’s safe to say that, yes, the Triforce does indeed exist during the events of Skyward Sword. Why exactly the Triforce does not come prominently into the lore of SKyloft is something we’re going to need to wait until the 18th/20th to find out. I’ going to restrain myself from making any wider speculations or assumptions, but I can assure you that closer to the release of Skyward Sword you’re going to begin to see a number of articles to that effect.
