February 2007 Mailbag

Well, it's a few days late, although nevertheless the mailbag is here! We have a good number of questions this month, some good…some very odd. So, without further delay, let's get started.

Ultimalink007 asks:
Will there be any new staff positions opening up in the near future?

Bob answers:
We currently have no plans to appoint new staff members. This of course, may change in the future. Whenever we have an open possition we will always post an article on the homepage with a link to the application form.

i am a teddy asks:
Bob, when is the chatroom being restored? I miss the dings and chatting almost next to friends.

Bob answers:
We currently have a plan for the chatroom, however we are not ready to set everything up just yet. We would like to see a few more active members before I go out and spend a good money portion on the chatroom. I can assure you that when it is here, you'll love it.

Capt. Zeroth asks:
Why is your site about Zelda? What inspired you to go spend a few hundred dollars on a Zelda fan site?

Bob answers:
Many things inspired me to create a Legend of Zelda fansite. The largest reason, of course, is simply the fact that I love the Legend of Zelda series enough to dedicate my time to educating the world. I also needed a hobby, and learning how to code and design all this certainly takes up a good portion of your life :). All in all, helping others would probably stand out the most.

Ultimalink007 asks:
What does Bob think about the idea of a wireless 'Wiiboard' for easier typing on the Wii?

Bob answers:
I would love to see a wireless Wii keyboard! Especially for use with the internet channel, the keyboard would simply make everyone's life far easier.

yoyoll asks:
If Bob bites the dust who becomes the "webmaster"?

Bob answers:
The Co-Webmaster of course!

animaldude asks:
What is your favorite game outside of the zelda series?

Bob answers:
That's a very hard question. If can not simply answer with one game, so I'll answer with three. Prince of Persia the Two Thrones, Resident Evil 4, and Super Smash Brothers.

Dr. Doom asks:
Where do you guys think Twilight Princess is in the Zelda timeline?

Bob answers:
Well, we know it's after Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask and before The Wind Waker. Twilight Princess exhibits many allusions to Ocarina of Time and A Link to The Past. Going any further would bring about speculation as, obviously, the timeline is a major battle amongst Zelda fans all over the world. So, to save myself from agony, I'm going to stop my explanation there.

That's the end of this month's mailbag. Be sure to continue sending in questions to be thrown into the madness which is our mailbag!
