Yesterday, Eiji Aonuma, Nintendo's Manager of Software product and producer of The Legend of Zelda since Majora's Mask spoke at GDC with a speech entitled "The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Reflections in the Hourglass". Although only scant amounts of information were given we've prepared a little summary for you all.
Aonuma began discussing brief moments of Zelda history and how he became involved in the project. He goes on to discuss a disturbing point that the acclaimed The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess was, for some time, considered the final Zelda game. Aonuma discussed in great detail why this thought came to pass, mainly due to the overall slow reception to The Wind Waker. He then moved on to discussing how Wii control came into Twilight Princess along with a basic review of information we have known for some time.
Once Eiji was done reflecting, he dropped the bomb on a newly announced feature of the upcoming The Legend of Zelda the Phantom Hourglass. The game will come WiFi enabled with a game similar to Pacman called "Seek". Players will collect force gems to find the location of other players. No other information on the game was released.
