Vote for Zelda 3DS
First, I want to personally apologize for the HUGE absence we’ve had over the last few months. As old as these two excuses are, they’re still basically what going on: school and work. I’m working in the US capital (Washington, DC) this summer, so much of my time has been dedicated to that work. Rest assured, we’re still here!
Now, onto more important matters. With E3 over and with, unfortunately, very little news on the next Legend of Zelda installment we’re left wondering a bit. However, Mr. Miyamoto was kind enough to inform the Nintendo Press crowd that the Zelda Team is considering one of three games. First, a re-make of A Link to the Past. Such a title has the potential to play radically differently given the 3D, although Miyamoto has expressed that such a remake would be a top-down Zelda style, so the gameplay may not be as radically different. The second, the much asked for re-make of Majora’s Mask. If you haven’t played Majora’s Mask you’re really doing yourself a disservice. To a lot of folks, myself included, it’s the Zelda game of choice. Lastly, an entirely new title based off of A Link to the Past. We’re not sure exactly what the game will involve, but it certainly sounds very interesting.
Anyway, IGN just placed up a video asking Zelda fans to vote for which game they’d like. Before you go all over me about how internet polls mean nothing, it has been confirmed that the Miyamoto et al accounts on IGN are legit. They do read fan feedback and take IGN in particular rather seriously. Click the read more link to vote, and best of luck!
